Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.
We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (240) 693-3070 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Frederick.
In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
Tonight marks the first night of Hanukkah, a time filled with light, tradition, and the simple joy of gathering with the people who make us feel at home. At Silverado, we treasure these moments. Our residents and families bring rich traditions into our community, and honoring them is one of the sweetest parts of what we do.
As we light the first candle, we celebrate resilience, hope, and the small sparks of joy that shine even brighter during this season. May the glow of the menorah bring comfort, connection, and peace to all who observe.
From our Silverado family to yours, we wish you a bright and meaningful Hanukkah.

This is Lily. Every time I see Joy she reminds me of my Lily. She was 14 1/2 and passed away a year ago. So glad Joy likes wearing dresses because I have a lot of dresses to give her. Joy does bring so much Joy to everyone.
