Our first community in Maryland has opened its doors to residents
We are pleased to announce that the Silverado Frederick Memory Care Community is now open and serving residents in the Frederick County and beyond! The brand-new, state-of-the-art community will provide Silverado’s signature style of compassionate, life-changing, evidenced-based care to 64 people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairing conditions.
Frederick is the first community in Maryland for Silverado, which has been changing the lives of residents with memory impairments for more than twenty five years. Located among the sprawling meadows in the countryside east of the main city, the property features indoor and outdoor space specifically designed to support the residents’ independence, confidence and sense of freedom to live life on their terms. In this community the memory-impaired will have a sense of renewed purpose and belonging, feeling loved and cared for while experiencing freedom to live!
The Frederick community sits next to a golf course less than a mile from the Monocacy River. The town of Frederick is rich in history is located near so many historic civil war sites. Silverado Frederick’s team, under the leadership of Administrator Sean Connor, MA, looks forward to collaborating with the professionals in the area to make a difference in the lives of the many people living with memory impairing diseases. Together, we are truly changing lives for the better!
