Celebrating Prom at Silverado Alexandria

One of the the cornerstones of Silverado's innovative style of care is the focus on purpose and maintaining lifelong interests and sources of joy. Silverado Alexandria chose to put this in September of 2021 when they hosted a special prom event to celebrate the lifting of some of the stricter pandemic lockdowns.

The Alexandria prom was a truly special event where residents got to dress to the nines and experience a fancy evening. Because even with dementia - especially with dementia - looking nice and celebrating with people is key to a happy life.
