Kristina Hulsey
Vice President, Risk & Legal Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer
Kristina comes to Silverado with nearly a decade of experience of counsel and guidance in the long-term care and senior housing industry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law.
Prior to Silverado, Kristina served as Associate General Counsel at Ensign Services, Inc., an affiliate of The Ensign Group, Inc. While with Ensign Services, she provided counsel and guidance to their network of more than 200 affiliated long-term care facilities and senior housing communities. Kristina is an expert on employment litigation, including wrongful termination claims, agency investigations and class & representative wage-and-hour claims. She also served as chief counsel to Ensign’s network of assisted living and senior living communities, handling all claims and risk management issues. Prior to working at Ensign Services, Kristina served in an in-house counsel role at Toshiba America Business Solutions.
Kristina’s interests outside of her work at Silverado are enjoying live music and spending time with her husband and daughter.
