For the fourth year in a row, Silverado has earned industry-leading recognition on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Aging Services™ list, ranking 5th nationwide!
Associates across the company completed the Great Place to Work Trust Index© Survey, earning Silverado its fourth straight Great Place to Work® certification among the top five positions of Fortune Magazine’s yearly release of rankings. The list ranks the top companies out of the hundreds surveyed, based on hundreds of thousands of employees’ responses.
Since its inception, one of Silverado’s primary goals has been to create a workplace associates want to come to. “This honor proves not only that Silverado is a great workplace, but one that helps give meaning and purpose to those who work here. Highly engaged and inspired associates are who we want to care for our loved ones, and the results of this survey show Silverado Associates are in a league of their own,” shared Silverado President and CEO Loren Shook.
The associate survey offered great insight into many of the reasons Associates ranked Silverado so highly in their responses:
- 91% believe their work is special and “not just a job”
- 90% feel their work at Silverado makes a difference
- 90% feel a sense of pride at what they accomplish
- 90% feel good about the way they contribute to the community
2021 continued many of the great challenges Silverado and all senior care providers faced the prior year, and the mutual dedication and respect demonstrated by Silverado’s associates is at the heart of the company’s strong recovery. The exceptionally high trust shown by this award makes a powerful statement about what sets Silverado associates apart and the work they do in changing people’s lives for the better every day!
