We are currently seeking an Activities Director (Nexus Program Director) who is passionate about making a difference for our Belmont Community!
Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred
- Management in long-term care or related field preferred.
- Experience in a social recreation programming preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience, including performance management, collaboration, and conflict resolution
- This role requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulations
- Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver’s license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee the Nexus program, a unique and innovative concept in memory care, supporting an active, brain-healthy lifestyle for individuals living with the early stages of dementia. The Nexus Neighborhood program combines Silverado’s development, partnering with all departments within the community, to implement, develop, and deliver resident programs. It will also include managing the budget and spending
- Assist residents through the Nexus Living experience, address emotional needs and assists in meeting with the residents frequently to assure individual interest and needs are being met
- Development of a calendar and coordinating the transportation for outings and the scheduling of events that involve the family members
- Supporting the branding, sales and marketing of the Nexus Neighborhood. This may include conducting in-services on various topics related to dementia and Nexus
- Conduct or co-market on sales calls with professionals including physicians, geriatric care managers, etc
- Ensure seamless team management and development
