    Why choose Silverado?

Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.

We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (424) 488-0593 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Rolling Hills.

In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

    Matt Zarro

    Director of Resident Engagement

Matt holds his bachelor’s in history from UCLA and his Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley. With a background in leading youth and adult ministries at various churches, he brings a wealth of experience to Silverado Rolling Hills, eager to leverage his skills and passion to ensure that each resident receives the love and care they deserve.

Matt’s journey in memory care began upon his grandmother’s dementia diagnosis, a period in which he became her full-time caregiver of three years. Following his grandmother’s transition to a memory care community, he chose to pursue a career as a caregiver. This decision uncovered Matt’s deep passion for enriching the lives of seniors through purposeful activities. Grounded in his Christian faith, he strongly believes in the transformative power of love, forgiveness and peace to make the world a better place. Matt’s sense of calling extends to serving those in need and treating each resident with the same level of care he provided to his own grandmother.

Born in Lawndale and raised in Manhattan Beach, Matt currently resides in South Bay, LA. Outside of Silverado, he is actively involved in organizing and advocating for unhoused rights, spending his weekends providing supplies and support to his neighbors on the street.
