Alicia Richardson, MSW

Alicia joins Silverado aiming to provide support and be a caring presence for residents and their families. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Gerontology from Kansas State University. Prior to joining the Silverado family, Alicia spent four years serving as the Director of Social Services at a skilled nursing community and three years providing counseling services for community mental health.

As the Family Ambassador, Alicia enjoys her work in equipping families and those living with memory impairment with the tools and resources necessary to cope with the difficult journey. She hopes to serve as a knowledge resource about memory impairment and help loved ones find and sustain connections through the stages of the disease.

On the weekends, Alicia enjoys playing pickleball with her husband, mother and mother-in-law. She also spends her weekends shooting events and photo sessions for the professional photography business she owns alongside her husband.
