As the Director of Resident Engagement, her expertise and innovativeness have been instrumental in addressing residents’ social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Malia takes great pride in her outstanding reputation and fearless approach to developing new, interesting activities that not only keep residents engaged, but associates as well.
At Silverado, Malia finds immense satisfaction in her role, as she is able to make a positive impact on residents’ lives every single day through meaningful engagement activities. One of her favorite aspects about interacting with residents on the daily is listening to their life stories that reveal their years of wisdom and experience.
On her free time, Malia enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, kayaking and participating in her women’s soccer league.
