Michael Zuletta

Michael earned his Master of Arts in Aging Services Management from the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. For the past decade, he has played a pivotal role within the institution, spearheading the development of educational programs tailored for other professionals in the field. Michael’s area of expertise encompasses critical areas, from tackling physical and financial elder abuse issues to facilitating caregiver support groups and advocating for home modifications to support safe aging in place. Additionally, he is dedicated to raising awareness about dementia progression, with a focus on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

Michael is deeply committed to promoting healthy aging and enriching the lives of older adults. He is a passionate advocate for aging-in-place solutions and innovative approaches to dementia care. Michael looks forward to the opportunity to empower individuals and communities, guiding them towards aging with dignity and independence through his advocacy efforts.

Michael’s passion for gerontology stems from a deeply personal place, shaped by his grandmother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Inspired by her journey, he devoted four years to volunteering at her Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), where he gained firsthand experience and understanding of the challenges faced by older adults and their caregivers.

When not at Silverado, Michael finds joy in hiking and camping adventures with his fiancé and their 100lb German Shepherd, Jax.
