Victoria joins Silverado with a deep-rooted passion for making a difference in the lives of others. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies with a concentration in community service from CSU Northridge. Victoria’s coursework heavily focused on social justice and always emphasized the importance of equity, respect and mindfulness when working with marginalized communities. This experience motivated Victoria’s desire to dedicate her career to ensuring that vulnerable populations get the dignity and respect they rightfully deserve.
Driven by her long-life dream of obtaining a master’s degree, Victoria made the decision to pursue her master’s in social work at the onset of the pandemic. During the program, she had the opportunity to intern at Silverado Beverly Place, an experience that solidified her chosen path. The residents and staff at Silverado made each day rewarding, inspiring Victoria’s desire to return to the place she knew she was meant to be.
